Privacy Policy

Majored ("the app") is developed by Felix Straub ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

The short version

Majored does not collect, see, or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your private iCloud account, which only you can access.

What you enter

Majored stores the courses, schedules, events, exams, projects, tasks, topics, and focus sessions you create. This information is stored locally on your device and synced across your own devices through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) using your private iCloud database.

Your private iCloud database is controlled by your Apple Account. I have no access to it and cannot see its contents. Sync is handled entirely by Apple.

Analytics and tracking

Majored contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app does not collect usage data, identifiers, or location.

Notifications

Reminders for projects, exams, and focus sessions are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.

Purchases

Majored Pro is an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. I never receive your payment information. Subscription management is handled by Apple in your Apple Account settings.

Children

Majored is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
